What to Bring to Camp

The following list is recommended for a Monday-Friday camp. PLEASE ADJUST ACCORDINGLY.

 

  • 1 pr. Jeans or Long Pants
         (for cool evenings) 

  • 1 Long Sleeved Shirt
         (for cool evenings)

  • 1 Sweatshirt
         (for cool evenings)

  • 1 Rain Jacket/Poncho, Etc.

  • 3-4 Pair Shorts

  • 5-6 T-Shirts

  • 5 Pair Underwear

  • 5 Pair Socks

  • 1 Pair Pajamas

  • 1 Pair Tennis Shoes

  • 1 Pair Flip Flops for Showers

  • 1-2 Swimsuits (Modest)

  • 1 Sleeping Bag or
       Blanket and Sheet 

  • 1 Pillow with Pillow Case

  • Sunscreen and Hat

  • Water Bottle

  • Non-Aerosol Insect Repellent 

  • Money for Canteen ($10 Max)

  • Money for Mission Project ($10 Max)

  • Stamped Envelopes for Letters

  • Writing Notebook/Pencils/Pens

  • String Bag for Water Bottle, Etc.

  • Flashlight 

  • Bible

  • Bag for Dirty Clothes

  • 2 Towels & Washcloths

  • Toiletries - Shampoo, Soap, Toothbrush/Toothpaste, Deodorant, Comb/Brush, Etc.

  • Eyeglasses/Contacts/Solution

  • Properly Labeled Medications

For the safety of everyone, please DO NOT bring the following items to church camp:

 

  • ​Cell Phones 

  • Computers/Tablets/iPads, etc.

  • Electronic Games

  • Knives

  • Expensive Jewelry

  • Firearms

  • Fireworks

  • Illegal Drugs

  • Matches or Lighter

  • MP3 Players or iPods** 

  • Snacks or Food 

  • Tobacco Products

  • Valuables

​**Some directors may allow MP3 players or iPods to listen to music during rest time or after devotions. 

 

 

For safety reasons, no open-toed shoes are allowed at camp except in the showers. 

 

 

 

 

​Faith Adventures is NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

 

 

If bringing medications and prescriptions, remember they must be in the original container.

The camp nurse will dispense ALL medications.  

 

If you play a musical instrument, you are welcome to bring your instrument and share your talents with the rest of us! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

**Clothing at camp should be appropriate for a church camp setting - no inappropriate words/messages, no spaghetti straps, no short shorts, two-piece swim suits must be modest.
